Arched Window Custom Shutters — Lake Las Vegas
A two-story Tuscan-style estate in South Shore with a 9-foot arched window above the entry foyer and matching arched windows in the great room.
The challenge
The arched tops were custom-radius — no off-the-shelf shutter fits. Previous owner had left the arches uncovered, which let in heat and afternoon glare onto the upper landing.
What we installed
Custom-radius polywood shutters made to follow the arc exactly, paired with rectangular shutters below. Operable louvers in both the arch and the rectangular sections so the homeowner can adjust light independently.
The outcome
The arches now match the home's Tuscan architecture instead of fighting it. Upper landing is 10°F+ cooler in the afternoon. Install required custom measurement and templating but was completed in a single day.
